Can I bring my dog to the Washington County Pet Expo?
Yes, you may bring your dog to the Expo. However, we require that all dogs attending the Expo are signed up to
participate in one of the activities. Even if you have no experience with canine sports, you will find something that
your dog will enjoy. The Expo is all about trying new things and creating confidence in your dog.
Is the Expo held rain or shine?
Yes, the Washington County Pet Expo is held rain or shine. This year all of the vendors are located in the new
Ziegler Pavilion. There are also several other buildings that will be available for cover if there is inclement weather.
If I am attending with my dog, what do I need to bring?
Training treats, leash, and motivational toys. Please, NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES. If you want, you may bring a
crate, X Pen, or EZ Up tent to house your dog while he rests. There is ample shaded crating space on the
fairgrounds. Watering stations and waste clean-up stations will be located throughout the grounds. Again this year,
we will have kiddie pools for the dogs to cool off in...a big hit last year.
How do I sign up to participate in an event?
On the "Sign Up" page, find the link to the registration form. Print off a copy, fill it out and mail it back along with
applicable fees. Once we receive it, we will email you a confirmation.
If I am signed up to participate in an activity, when should I arrive at the Expo?
You should arrive approximately 1/2 hour before your scheduled time slot to allow time for you to register, set up
your crate (optional), and locate the events you are participating in.
Once I've tried an activity, can I sign up to do it again?
Yes, provided there is space in the event, you can come back to the registration booth and sign up for another
session. Most of the event schedules are flexible enough that you can "jump-in and jump-out" of a session.
Are food and beverages available at the Expo?
Yes. We will have a full service concession stand serving food, soda, and beer.
