Jumping, flying, splashing...Oh my! If your dog loves
the water, you'll want to try the Pier Pups dock
jumping. Our free standing pool is a 32' long by 16'
wide by 4' deep. Dogs are encouraged by their
owners, our experienced staff and the crowd to jump
off the dock to retrieve their favorite toy. Prepare to
get wet!
An obstacle course for dogs...and their owners!
Tunnels, jumps, weave poles, tetter-totters, chutes &
A- frames are just some of the obstacles dogs and their
owners have to navigate. A fun match is a great way to
gain experience in competitive agility trials, such as
new dogs & equipment, spectators and different
surfaces. You can choose whether you want to be
timed and judged or just train in the ring.
Many dogs found their claim to fame at last year's Lure
Course event. Lure coursing attempts to imitate the
chase of a rabbit during a hunt...but without the rabbit!
Even dogs who had no previous experience raced
after the lure like a pro. The lure is usually a plastic
grocery bag tied to a cable. The cable runs through a
series of pulleys placed on the course. The lure is
zipped up, down and across the course enticing the
dog to catch it. Fast and Furious Fun!
Dogs jump hurdles and then step on a spring
loaded box that shoots out a tennis ball. The dog
catches the ball and runs back over the
hurdles and then the next dog on the team goes.
The first team to have
all 4 dogs run without
errors wins the heat.
We will cover topics ranging from allergic reactions to
common toxicities, heat stroke to signs of bloat, how to
safely transport an injured animal and how to place a
bandage that will actually stay on a dog's
leg. Come learn about problems you can handle at
home, and the ones to recognize that require quick
action of veterinary help.

Rally is a canine sport based on basic obedience
commands. With the dog in heel position, the handler
proceeds around a course at a brisk pace. There are
10-20 signs posted throughout the course with
instructions such as "Sit, Walk Around". The team
racks up points for each task done correctly,
